KAKI + SO was born during a season of motherhood that felt both beautifully full and endlessly fleeting.

As a mother, I found myself searching for children’s clothing that felt timeless, comfortable, and thoughtfully made. Pieces that could keep up with everyday adventures. I wanted simplicity without sacrificing beauty, and quality that could be loved through every season.

But the story of KAKI + SO began long before motherhood.

​

Growing up a twin, some of my favorite childhood memories were the ones I shared alongside my brother. Those early years shaped the way I see childhood today - full of connection imagination, and stories that stay with us long after we’ve outgrown them. The name KAKI + SO is a quit nod to those beginnings and the bond that inspired it.

The foundation continues to influence every piece and collection we create. Many of our pieces are intentionally designed to be gender - neutral, inspired by the idea that childhood is meant to be shared. We love creating timeless essentials that can be passed down, worn by siblings, and become part of many stories throughout the years.

Rooted in story, our collections are inspired by the moments that often matter most- the sleepy morning cuddles, backyard adventures, family traditions, and milestones that seem to arrive far too quickly.

 At KAKI + SO, our hope is simple: to create beautiful essentials that allow little ones to move freely, parents to shop confidently, and families to embrace the season they are in.
